Cloud Ops Engineer
The Cloud Ops Engineer is a critical part of our SaaS platform strategy. In this role, you’ll work closely with product development teams to ensure cloud infrastructure and environments’ security, performance, availability, and cost optimization. You design, implement, test, deploy and support infrastructure solutions for our products. You help support the development team by coaching and mentoring them on Cloud best practices. In addition, you will assist in maintaining SOC2 and ISO 27001 compliance by maintaining access control for cloud resources via Azure PIM and other RBAC tools.
Responsibilities
- Continually improve and automate manual tasks, identify and resolve gaps in processes.
- Design/implement infrastructure as code templates
- Respond to infrastructure or security incidents alongside development teams
- Collaborate and mentor development teams in building scalable, performant web applications
- Create Proof-of-Concept design studies to implement new tools or services
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years in a Cloud Engineering role, managing Azure subscriptions and recourses
- 2+ years of experience with one or more scripting languages, such as PowerShell, bash, or python
- 2+ years of experience building and operating solutions on Azure
- 2+ years of working with Linux, window with established experience in troubleshooting network and connectivity issues, applications errors, user permission
- Experience writing and deploying infrastructure as code
- Experience with managing cloud spend
